We will arrange an initial telephone or video call. I offer this free of charge for 30 minute call to help us decide if our sessions will be helpful to you.

I charge £60 per session.
Payments are made via bank transfer 48 hours ahead of each session.

Payment is required at least 48 hours in advance of each session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

I offer online sessions on Thursdays.
In-person sessions on Wednesdays.
A hybrid approach may be available depending on scheduling.

I do not currently offer reduced-fee sessions, but I am happy to point people in the direction of services who can.

Counselling can be helpful at any point in life, whether you’re navigating a specific issue or exploring broader patterns. The initial consultation will help us decide whether working together is appropriate.

Our first session focuses on your reasons for seeking counselling and any practical questions.
Ongoing sessions provide space to explore your experiences at a pace that feels manageable.

Sessions are typically weekly. We review progress regularly (every six weeks), and the number of sessions varies depending on your needs.

I specialise in mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, as well as burn out, stress and loss (including anticipatory grief).
I also have significant experience helping people with memory loss, dementia and their families.

If a specialist service or different therapeutic approach would be more appropriate for you, we can discuss this. The initial consultation helps determine whether my practice is the right fit.

I currently only offer working with adult individual clients.
I do not work with children under the age of 18 or couples.

I don’t currently offer walk/wheel and talk option, but it is something I would like to offer in the future. Please reach out if this is something you would like to discuss!

Contact between sessions is limited to practical matters such as scheduling or cancellations.

I do not provide an emergency or crisis service.
If you are in immediate danger, call 999 or attend A&E.
For urgent mental health support, call 111 and press 2, or contact your GP or local out-of-hours service.If appropriate, I might be able to signpost or suggest crisis support organisations within my working hours and availability.

Counselling is confidential within professional and legal limits.
I discuss client work anonymously in supervision.

I am willing to discuss reasonable adjustments for neurodivergent clients. Please speak to me about your individual needs and preferences. I may be able to offer shorter sessions, or sessions with a more creative focus.
